Goan Cuisine The cuisine of Goa consist of regional foods popular in Goa like Seafood, rice, coconut milk and paste are the main ingrediants of Goan delicacies. Goa Cuisine is derived by the combination of Hindu, Portuguese and modern food. Goan Cuisine is popular because of chillies and were introduced to Goan Cuisine by Portuguese and is preferred by most of the tourists.


Hindu Cuisine Hindus in Goa do not use chillies too much. They use less amount of Onion and Garlic and more use of vegetables are preferred by them. Most of the Hindu Goan are non-vegetarian, but they do not eat pork and beef due to religion Beliefs.
